My son played for them years ago and we always felt weird about the name. Kids dont need to be wearing that on their jerseys.
Tradition shouldn't be an excuse for being offensive. Pick a new name that everyone can be proud of.
SO RIDICULOUS. GROW UP. TIMES CHANGE AND SO SHOULD THIS TEAM NAME.
Its 2016. How is this even still a debate? Change the name already.
Keep the football but lose the slur. Not that hard to pick a new mascot.

Finally someone is speaking up about this. Its so disrespectful to so many people.
