This is a petition for the State of Nebraska to change its laws regarding non-judicial foreclosures. Currently, Nebraska is a non-judicial foreclosure state, meaning if a mortgage servicer decides to foreclose on your house, it does not have to go through the court system to do so, thus increasing the possibility of fraudulent foreclosures since mortgage companies don't have to answer to anyone or be reviewed by anyone in this state for their practices. Please sign this petition to make Nebraska a judicial foreclosure state once again and protect your home and your family from fraudulent mortgage companies like PHH Mortgage!
