Central City Arena Roller Hockey needs to fix their poorly thought out rules on player's eligibility for playing in multiple divisions. The point of separate divisions is to allow players/teams to play in divisions that fit their skill level. CC rules allow a team to use up to 2 higher division players in one game. What this does is completely destroy the division system. A low division team, using 2 "ringers" from the top divisions typically means those higher div players dominate the game and win it almost by themselves, leaving the team that is playing fairly and using their real team, to feel very cheated by that sort of loss.

Other leagues I've seen use a "PLAY UP - NOT DOWN" rule - meaning that a player can substitute onto a team that is a higher division than his own team, but not on teams which are lower division. Usually this rule is dependent on how many divisions there are. CC has 5-6 divisions so a realistic rule would be "Players may substitute on any team in a higher division than his own team, or on a team 1 division lower than his team. In the case of the lowest division, players from 1 division above may be used as substitutions". During playoffs, NO higher division players may be substituted.

What this accomplishes is that players/team skill levels are respected. Currently, choosing a division to play in is meaningless, since star players from the top divisions come down and dominate the bottom division games, and that's not right.
