    Comments: The purchase of the property by Wal-Mart was a scam transaction allowed by a corrupt company and corrupt Union County politicians. The zoning and land-use plan are being ignored by the polticians, mainly commissioners and individuals appointed by the commissioners on the Board of Adjustments and Planning Board who don't care about the quality of life or the safety of the individuals that live on the west side of the county because it does not affect them personally. The land at the corner of Rea Road and Tom Short Road is part of a Planned Unit Development (as defined in the zoning ordinances) which by definition requires commercial property be INTEGRATED into the residential neighborhood (Somerset). There is a ROAD (Tintinhull Lane) that CONNECTS DIRECTLY into this commercial property from the residential neighborhood and runs past the neighborhood playground. The commercial property was designed (and sold that way to Somerset homeowners) as a NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING CENTER (i.e. buildings 25k sq ft and less each that are pedestrian safe and of a "neighborhood" type) and was never intended or designed for any facility the size of Wal-Mart or the use by Wal-Mart (Regional shopping center). THIS SITUATION IS ABOUT CORRUPTION, LIES AND MISUSE OF POWER. We have politicans currently in office in Union County and those that are trying to get in office who think they can do what ever they want and don't care if they step on you or your property rights in the process or ignore the current law.     Comments: Can not stand Wallmart; cheaply made product:bad quality and for that - over priced (even with evrydaylowprices) -BS!!!!! WM is really good for low class citizen w/low income or cheap higher ones. I buy only cat food, because that store is close to my home and withing driving range from work.I hate shopping at WM; everything looks dirty, even filthy. When i first came to America i was shopping there, but quickly figure out about that place what it is - Cheap Shit!!!!!! It was a little birdy flying over the Wm and sining - 'cheap, cheap, cheap shit, cheap shit....

    Comments: I would not invest in a beach house for that and other resonas. If you are close enough to the ocean to walk out your back door in a few years you will have to pick up your house and move it. No sea level change needed.After the last storm many beach houses which weren't destroyed by the storm were within X feet of the ocean and had to be moved or destroyed. You can't have a house within X feet of the high tide line by law.Where there are restaurants and commercial real estate they haul in huge boulders and lash them together with mesh to postpone the problem. Seawall boulevard has been there for a long time because the natives understand.The Tuvaluans could learn from them.
