Comments: It is high time that small-scale coastal and inland fishers are stimulated to joint hands in localized fisheries management.

Comments: We are professional small scale fishermen in the Natura2000 reserve of the Dutch Waddensea. Our fishing techniques are centuries old. Our fishery historically belongs to the Waddensea and has become less and less intensive. But still there is less fish every year, despite the protection as a nature reserve.

Comments: It's staggering that in the face of evidence that shows that the Britain is currently losing around £400 million pounds per year because of reduced stock, that we continue with policies that lose money as well as needlessly kill such a huge amount of fish. We need some common sense to be applied!!!!

Comments: It's disgusting and immoral that so much good fish is wasted because of the Common Fisheries policy. I care very much about the environment and about the way our food is produced. This wastage should not be tolerated any longer.

Comments: EMP's you have got to come to your senses sooner rather than later on your absolutely, ridiculous fishing policies you have implemented, allowing the discard of dead fish caught and not allowed to be landed, it is absolutely obscene.

Comments: All of question of balance. Fishing Communities are sometimes not even even acknowledged as being communities by their own fishermen, who want to carry on fishing, unhindered by others.
