   Comments: I was lucky to have skin to skin with my daughter soon after her birth by c-section. It helped immensely in the bonding process and we went on to successfully breastfeed for three years. The bonding process should be started as soon as possible after birth whenever possible to give all mums the best start with their new baby.

   Comments: I had both children c-section and missed that immediate bonding time. I was fully awake and able to nurse, but was not allowed to until almost 25minutes later when returned to my room.
