Help Prevent Cervical Cancer at LSU!

The petition

As students of Louisiana State University, we are interested in the health and well-being of our female peers, which is why we ask that the student medical coverage policy at the LSU Student Health Center be revised to subsidize the cost of Gardasil, a vaccine that protects against the Human Papillomavirus Types 16 & 18, which are the two variants of the virus that cause 70% of cervical cancers. Princeton and Dartmouth have already altered their student health policies to subsidize the vaccine in part or in full for their students. We are asking that LSU join this trend and help the fight against cervical cancer!
