Comments: The recurring punitive actions taken by DPS against employees that dare challenge the Company line requires these comments be submitted anonymously. Principal Munro, whose only apparent qualification for her job seems to be her residential proximity to the superintendant, now controls the destiny of a once-neighboorhood school, and thereby the future of the students within. That's a frighening responsibility to place in the hands of the person who has taken Centennial from yellow to red, who spends less time in the building on a daily basis than any of her good educators, who is afraid to interact face-to-face with staff, students, or parents, who seems incapable of enforcing any form student discipline, who had to be publicly shamed into conducting the school's first lock-down drill of the year, and who has arrogantly and capricously forced out EVERY teacher she had on staff whose documented student's achievement exceeded District averages. Frightening indeed. And a terrible thing to do to those students.

Comments: I am a retired special educator at Centennial and know the Centennial Community. Currently, parents are not knowledgable about what is happening to their school as being implemented, and NEED TO HAVE INPUT. THE PARENTS ARE NOT BEING HEARD. They do not know why their staff is being blamed for poor scores, when the current leadership has not been helpful.

Comments: How many more schools will this administration destroy? Don't you see the impact your decisions are having not only on the surrounding neighborhood but the busines

Comments: " I'm writing to express to you how sincerely honored my son Zachary and I are to be a part of Mrs. Barbara Lell’s 2nd grade class at Centennial K-8 Elementary School. A teacher is one of the most important people in a child’s life. Rarely are the children fortunate enough to have a teacher like her." The above note is part of a letter I sent out to the Board of education during the 2011-2012 school year. I still feel the same way!!

Comments: It's a shame when a new principal destroys a school where the teachers have worked so hard to educate the students.
