| 1453 | Elizabeth Perkins | Stop uranium exploration and mining now, before we uncover something that we can not control. Listen with your heart and not the pocket book. Think about your children, are they not worth more than a few dollars. |
| 1454 | Dr. Peter C. van Wyck | |
| 1455 | Darlene Buckingham | The dangers of uranium to the environment and public health and safety are clear. The nuclear industry also costs billions of dollars. It is time to spend the money given to subsidize the nuclear industry to technologies that have less impact on the environment and the health and safety of the people of Ontario and Canada.

| 1456 | Anonymous | Please reconsider the need to mine uranium as there are so many people that will be effected by this. Is this really necessary or is there some other mining more important? |
| 1457 | Marie Lloyd | As a veteran organizer of Hiroshima Memorial Day in Kingston, Ontario, I am acquainted with the role-both historic and contemporary- of uranium in weapons. This, as grim as it is, is far from my only basis for opposition to uranium exploration and mining. It must end now. |
| 1458 | Eleanor Archer | I have spent most of this winter reading about uranium. I have come to the conclusion that the world, and our Ontario government, in their push to move to the increased use of nuclear to solve the carbon issue is jumping from the frying pan into the fire. It is absolutely unacceptable to continue to create devasting and long lasting stockpiles of radioactive waste both from mining and from nuclear generation. Mines are not healthy and there is no longterm guarantee. Stop the exploration for uranium. Put money into supporting a truly health solution to energy needs.
For the sake of my grandchildren, sincerely,
Eleanor Archer |

| 1469 | Joan Rose | Mr. McGuinty, You have the responsibility to protect your citizens from serious harm. Therefore, you must declare a moratorium on uranium mining so its effects can be studied carefully, and the health of people and the environment can be ensured and protected.

DO THE RIGHT THING " Mr. Premier. |
| 1475 | Anonymous | In a world that's tying to save the environment, why on earth would the government propose such a lethal idea such as this, especially at the expense of people's lives?I/we are strongly opposed to this "project".I can't believe that money is more important to the government than people's lives! |

| 1486 | David Dowdell | It's time that we start putting money towards renewable resources. Open pit uranium mining is not only an eye sore but it is damaging to the environment. We may not see the effects today but our children most certainly will. We need to stop the damage before it's too late. |
| 1487 | M. | Simply put, I'm bored, so I am going to fuck with natural evoltion. Potential and kinectic energy are one of the keys to the future. As long as the cycle can be maintained and a certain amount of energy drained from a potential/kinetic cycle. This type of energy. BORED NOW!!! Oh and uh, had water car when young. Worked on water power. This is like fucking boring. Can't people with money and power come up with better solutions? Or people with solutions get off their fat piggy asses. Or skinny too bony asses make some money, network and actually have the gonads and the pull to make changes? Oh fuck Bored to fatigue now. |
| 1488 | Christine Farrar | The mining rights in this country need to be updated.
There have been enough studies to show uranium mining may have a significant negative effect - with the specific uranium mine at Sharbot Lake running right into our back yard in Ottawa.
Do NOT take chances with our health! |

| 1494 | Gail Nash | This is just more proof of the greedy government getting in bed with big business. Do we as the "little people" have a chance? It makes me sick, literally and scared to imagine what the future will hold for my grandchildren because of government destruction. |
| 1495 | Frank Mizzi | This needs to stop now. The innocent have no voice they cannot speak for themselves, we are their spokesperson. Who are they? They are the children, the animals, birds and especially the enviroment!
Please do not ever give-up.
Thanks,

| 1496 | Kerstin Ring | The Ontario law must be changed in order to protect landowners. It is simply unacceptable as it stands now. |
| 1497 | Jayne Walker | We need to make decisions that are healthy for our future generations. Uranium exploration, drilling, extraction, transportation, processing, and disposal is deadly poisonous to life. Tempting, but deadly. Profitable but deadly. Centralised, but deadly. |
