| 1355 | Jane Campbell | I am deeply concerned about the exploration and mining of uranium in Eastern Ontario and shocked at how little the public is informed and protected by the government. I oppose the exploration and mining in Eastern Ontario - an area of high population and watersheds which are important for our drinking water. |

| 1358 | Jay Macpherson | Water is a much more precious commodity than uranium: no trade-off! |

Last time I checked "WE" were still the people, not the mining companies or the SHARE HOLDERS of these operations, or did Mcginty change his name to "The Profit Premier" or should we just call him Premier Profit instead of Premier McGinty?!!! Who's lining his pocket? Is he (McGinty) going to sell us out too like the Mulroney Government did and then move out of Canada to some nice sunny resort with HIS family in tow? You betcha!!!!! |

| 1373 | Anonymous | Please cease uranium mining and exploration in Ontario, and invest in solar and wind power, whose technologies and feasibility are improving greatly. We need forward thinking leaders now who are committed to our future. Third world countries look to us for leadership. Please explore sound options with a long term view to scrap uranium mining and nuclear power. |

I just visited your website and wanted to extend the hand of international solidarity to you. We in Nianfors (North East Sweden) are currently involved in a blockade to prevent a company from test drilling for uranium near our village. You can find out more about our campaign online at our site : www.nianfors.nu which is in Englaish and Swedish. Please feel free to sign our petition and or guestbook.
In solidarity through struggle.

| 1394 | c mann | My husband & I have owned a cottage in N Frontenac for many years & live in fear of the possibility of uranium mining in our area. What are we leaving for our grandchildren. Is our heritage increased odds of various cancers? what about the blight on the landscape? what about the wildlife? Last but not least, what about our real estate value? |
| 1395 | John D. Jackson | As a resident located within a few km. of the proposed site, I am very worried about the future of our water supply and the value of our property. Clearly Frontenac Ventures controls the political and legal institutions in this area. |

| 1398 | Shirley Ann Cone | How can the government in good conscience allow this form of polution to happen, they talk about preserving the country, this only destroys it and everything around. |
