Name: Anonymous on Mar 5, 2008Comments: It's ridiculous to send a blueprint aka sample papers and not base the main paper on it! I actually can't find anything similar between the 2! Why call it a blueprint ok. they don't have to be the same and they shouldn't but how are the students supposed to know that cbse is planning to ask such senseless questions Isn't it better to prepare the students for what they are about to do What good is it going to do to CBSE if none of the students do well..if it makes them happy then what can the students do against that. All we can say is, that's saddening and quite hilarious to hear! 1st time the board isn't aiming for the students success! CBSE has to keep in mind that there all kinds of students writing the paper. Not everyone can think in the same way the board does! And I thought the board understood that!. The paper was vague, wasn't clear and confused students as to what they had to write as an answer! Even if I as a student managed to attempt the paper, no one actually knows whether their answer was right because each person thought of the question in a different manner! We need a reply to this from CBSE!Flag

Name: Anuradha on Mar 5, 2008Comments: the difficulty level of all the sets were NOT unifrom...which is very unfair to the students. and many questions were twisted and vague. CBSE should have informed the students about this pattern way before so that the preparations could be done in that order. CBSE correctors should be leniant in the correction!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 6, 2008Comments: The paper was very vague and it was definately an ABOVE AVERAGE paper. What is the CBSE trying to do by making a paper like this Definately they wouldn't want the results to be bad. The difficulty level in the sets wasnt the same. Already students are so nervous before there board exam and this kind of a paper adds to that. Last year CBSE never mentioned that pictures will be asked and a picture had come to identify, this year CBSE told pictures will come and not a single picture came. Also the glossary in pol. science wasnt to be tested. 1 or 2 HOTS is understandable, but not the whole paper! CBSE should have kept in mind the level of an average student and set the papers. I request them to correct leniently as the diffuclty level was high and the students weren't aware of the new pattern. I would be really grateful to them.Flag

Name: Bhoomika on Mar 6, 2008Comments: Every sample paper .. CBSE and CBSE Guess.. were definitely not based on the same format .. there were no extracts and the question based on the extract was completely based on personal judgement which we weren't quite prepared for .. we should've been informed. And the difficulty level for the three sets was different despite CBSE stating they will be uniform. Someone needs to define 'uniformity' to CBSE!Flag
