Fellow students, it had come to my attention that many of you have not been receiving feedback from your final year projects on time. It has also come to my attention that we must hand in the project on week 10 of our 12 week module, thus meaning that we would miss out on 2 weeks of precious work. Also, considering that the binding process will also take at least a week, we realistically need to have the project finished for week nine. Think of the amount of work we could do with three extra weeks of submission time. Self funded students should also acknowledge that they are missing out on the tuition weeks they have already paid for.
Some students also have deadlines for other modules around week nine, resulting in very high stress levels among students, which could also result in a reduced quality of work and lower grades overall.
I would like each of you to reading this to sign the petition and at the end of the week Sunday they will be collected and the number of people who have contributed will be counted.
