| 52 | 02 | Don't let my voter status fool ya. |
| 53 | 01 | I urge that the Congressional Black Caucus renew their former strong progressive leadership in the new Congress and especially on these key issues that so disproportionately impact and affect their constituencies and all, particularly poor, communities of color in our nation and abroad. |
| 54 | 01 | More plans and action for us. Less tribute to AIPAC, less dollars to Israel, more to US.
Get off your ... and jam! |
| 55 | 01 | The CBC failed to address the issues of black masses and seems more concerned about preserving their electoral position. They show no unity with each other's legislative efforts |
| 56 | 01 | I dont know aboutthat free healthcare thing...this is not a socialist country |
| 57 | 01 | |
| 58 | 01 | let us all act |

| 60 | 01 | I detest the media attempt to bully Black voters into supporting Barack Obama against Hillary Clinton by trivializing our concerns with Barack's candidacy. If the media have an angst about Obama's heritage, then it should address that sleeplessness, straightforwardly. Don't racistly and cowardly attribute that angst to Black voters whose only interest in Obama's candidacy is his committment to the struggle against racial, gender, and social inequality, or his committment to the agenda as outlined the State of the Black Union. I wish the Caucus would take a more aggressive stand against these racist assaults on our integrity. Also, denying a candidate the office by reason of gender is as insidiously evil as doing so by reason of race. We need a new nation! |

| 75 | 01 | |
| 76 | 01 | I think you failed to mention another important issue
effecting our communities. There should be a call for a major overhaul of the public school system, especially in inner city neighborhoods. |
| 77 | 01 | This represents the issues that are of paramount importance to me. Stand up and Act now |
| 78 | 01 | I am deeply concern that elected leaders of The
African American Community in Congress
might be neglecting the needs of our community!
Who are we to depend on if they continue to ignore
our concerns? |

| 82 | 01 | The silence of the CBC has been deafening. |
| 83 | 01 | |
| 84 | 01 | The CBC needs to stop trying to get along and start doing. It doesnt matter if they win as long as they do something beside wine. |

| 87 | 02 | It is past time that Black politicians stop kissing up to the powers that be and start living up to the hopes and inspirations of the regular people.I would like to add to the list that it should be illegal for any black politician to be seeing smiling and kissing up to any republican president on national television. That is one of the most disturbing sight.... |

| 96 | 01 | CBC, as a taxpaying citizen of this country, I am very disapointed the direction our country is heading. As I communte to work, go grocery shopping, park my car, or any errands that require me to be in public, I am constantly reminded how my race of people are being left behind and left out of the American dream.
The reaction I usually receive from most white folk, is, there are two classes that exist in this world. That is them (white folk) being entitled to only the best this country has to offer and I am entitled to whatever I can get. All of this of course is at MY expense.
CBC, you MUST step up to the plate and make your voices heard. I cannot and I will not tolerate being treated less than a human being at MY EXPENSE! |
| 97 | 01 | I think your seven points are squarely on target. I think we should keep pressuring the CBC until we get some positive response from the organization. |

| 100 | 01 | Both job training and public education (higher education as well) require an extensive modern re-industrialization of the United States economy. Working people need a much higher standard of living, much greater rate of pay, we need additional increase in our salaries and a progressive astronomical growth in income in order to survive and thrive. For a start, we must require that all those corporate bonuses and all those obscene salaries grabbed by thousands of corporate CEOs be immediately transferred to folks that really need the money to pay the bills. It is time for economic socialism and a progress flattening of income and wealth –a greater EQUALITY OF WEALTH.. |
