Name: Peter Warner on Feb 23, 2007Are you registered to vote: 01Comments: I hold the U. S. Congress responsible for upholding the humanitarian values upon which this nation was founded. Congress is responsible for ensuring the equal protection of all citizens under the law. Failure to secure these rights for all citizens is an indication that Congress is unwilling to uphold American values and the rule of law, in which case the people shall assume the responsibilty to dissolve the government for one representative of their collective values. Congress is doing a great job of agitating the masses to re-create government by whatever means necessary.Flag

Name: Brenda Stewart on Feb 24, 2007Are you registered to vote: 01Comments: We are in need of Black people who are willing and ready to put the needs of our people first. As a parent of a teenage son who has been a victim of institutionalized racism in public education, the time has come to dismantle the halls of injustice that has been allowed to take place. Many of the problems that we face today, is the result of black leadership that has decided to look the other way rather than do what is right for the masses of Black people. The number of Black males not obtaining high school diplomas is not by coincidence. The number of Black males tracked into special education is not by coincidence. This has been cleverly designed and instituted by the white man. This is called the school to prison pipeline that has been tracked and researched by Harvard University Civil Rights Project. I am appalled, to live at a time when Black life is not valued. I am even more appalled at the lack of response that I have experienced as a result of contacting Black Officials in the state of Indiana, the most racist state in the union. I do appreciate the truth that bears integrity and the courage to say that " I'm Black and Proud". Sincerely, Brenda Stewart Mother and Advocate of Black BoysFlag

I can only hope that the Black Congressional Caucus can take an aggresive attitude of the listed issues. Sincerely, Mike Squarrel Perris, Ca.Flag

The CBC should be in the vanguard in formulating public policies that will redress the ill-conceived and destructive policies of the current administration and place our nation fundamentally on a course of equality and justice for all.Flag
