| 201 | David Habermann | I do not support these bills. It is my feeling that those people who place themselves in the path of known natural risk should personally bear the brunt of those decisions. Therefore it would be my premise that this type of reinsurance should not be provided by the federal government but instead should be the responsibility of local, or perhaps state, government and/or private enterprise. |

| 211 | Alberto Guerra | I cannot imagine a justified rate increase after no hurricanes this year nor any for 27 years from 1965 through 1992. The politicians are the the ones in a position, elected by us, to help regulate this and negotiate a fair rate. |

I believe the insurance rates for Miami and Key Biscayne are too expensive and must be reduced as soon as possible. Please help us with this expense. Think out of the box :).
Thank you,
Alan |

Either go uninsured or sell your house, as property taxes and insurance are unaffordable on the fixed income population. There should be an insurance to cover fire, theft and other damages not related to hurricanes, but no one sells it unless you purchase the whole package. I have to live uninsured due to the mismanaged system that we have now. |
