139 Rabbi Stanley Howard SchwartzWhether global warming is causing mor eintense hurricanes or not, whether they are merely a phenomenon of recent years or not, the cost to home owners of storm damage is exhorbitant, beyond our capability to manage. Congress must produce laws which protect us.

144 William FehrIf the insurance rates go up again next year, I will be forced to sell my house in Miami Beach & leave the state after almost 17 years here. I would be devastated as I have established a "family" of friends here and am sickened at the prospect of starting over somewhere else at 46 years old, but I have no choice. It comes down to paying the mortgage or paying insurance - I simply can't do both, and I am a professional making a decent salary. I don't know how people with families are getting by. Please help us.
