    Comments: I went here when I was at primary school alll I can say is it is FANTASTIC and must stay as a residential centre myself and friends and of course thousands of others would be very disapointed if it doesn't I have great memories of this place and we always talk about the times we spent there please keep this open!!

    Comments: It is an invaluable summer school for pupils studying art, an absolutely fantastic resource. Not from the west coast originally I would have loved to have access to this kind of course when a pupil myself. It would be an utter disgrace and an act of sheer stupidity to take these facilities away.

    Comments: My daughter has spent many a happy time there doing Music,This has contributed to her chosen career.If you check I think you'll find our science,teaching and medical professions owe a great deal to the music world,most of the young musicians Ive known over the last 20+years have gone into those professions we may not have many young musicians who make a career of it as my daughter has,this takes a true love and dedication for music, but the mental discipline gained in the early years seems to stand them in good stead for other subjects.Go on check it out.I think you find most of our greatest people have played a musical instrument of some kind.Have you ever thought of what it would be like to remove all the music from soundtracks etc for just one week Castle Tower has also offered children less fortunate to have a great opportunity to get together with like minded people.Yes you may offer an other accommodation but is it suitable those courses are pretty intense the students need to be warm and comfortable.

    Comments: i stayed in castle toward twice in the late 60s. I hve very fond memories of castle toward. It was a life saver for many families. To this day I think of my childhood and Castle toward is part of my history and would like to think of it as part of my heritage and you only have to look at my name too see that and was hoping when we tour scotland that castle toward would be on the agenda.

    Comments: hi my nane is linda and i would like to sign ur patition as i went to castle towards when i was 10 years old that was 1980 and know im nearly 40 and i think it would be a mistake to close this program down as kids love down out doors attiveties just look back in time when i was there i was in room 3 and wee didnt get what the kids get just know especially them how r in need and the needed i just wished they had this when i was there wee got long walks and playing out on the big swings and teachers giving u home work

    Comments: What will be achieved by closing Castle Toward? 1. Argyll & Bute Council will get some capital income. 2.Argyll & Bute will be guilty of making more than 30 local people unemployed, deny Scottish children from all backgrounds the opportunity to have the unique experience that is Toward and to develop as an individuals. Scotland needs Castle Toward and the opinion of the tens of thousands who have benefitted from attending there should be placed well above the bean counters.
