| 251 | mark van gaalen | to view psychiatric problems as diseases deprives the symptoms of their meaning and deprives the person experiencing these signs of a choise. |

| 253 | Jackline Pecotic | The work this organisation is doing is fantastic! I cant even express how much so. The conventional way of dealing with a mental illness is apparent that it is not working, and what you guys do is offer hope and inspiration for the families and the people who suffer so terribly. |

I for myself am suffering since 20 years from a schizophrenia diagnosis including stigmatising and incapacitating and on.
I think that phenomenas called schizophrenia are as as well a physical illness as a diabetes TypI for example.
An illness that affects one`s metabolism wich can easily cured with medical treatment nowerdays.
I think the label "schizophrenia" should be abolished and replaced with a more acceptable terminology.

| 265 | Lavanya | I heartily agree with Bhargavi on this. I shall be glad to extend my fullest co-operation to her in her campaign against the label of Schizophrenia and have hereby signed in favor of the campaign. |
| 266 | Lavanya | I heartily agree with Bhargavi upon this. I shall be glad to extend my full co-operation to the movement for the abolition of the term Schizophrenia which can indeed be devastating. |
| 267 | Judy Gayton | There is a real need to educate the "educators".
Mislabelling automaticallly leads to misunderstanding from which there is no hope.
This is an appeal to human decency and an embracing of this change will help to heal the world. |

| 270 | Paris Williams | I am a doctoral student working towards a dissertation on recovery from "psychotic" experiences. As someone who has both experienced nonordinary experiences, who has worked with many people diagnosed as "schizophrenic," and who has done extensive research, I am convinced that labels such as "schizophrenia" are completely bogus. |

| 277 | Alyson Bradley | Our mental state of mind so often depends on someone else’s perception of how we should think!
Its so wrong to alienate so many, no one is a label and ignorance should no longer be an excuse... |

| 281 | Judith Haire | Schizophrenia is but one of the diagnoses afforded to me at one time in my life. It is nonsensical to think that such a label is worth anything. Let common sense prevail - lets abolish all stigmatising labels. http://www.judithhaire.vpweb.co.uk |
| 282 | Margaret Parry | Yes I think it is a stigmatizing name and something nicer and more appropriate should take its place |
