Name: Dorothy Lane on Jan 21, 2008Comments: We always tell our kids no matter what always wear your helmet. The other day my eleven year old went out without his helmet said he couldn't find it in the garage I didn't know. He came back a few minutes later scraped up his elbow, fingers, and had a very nasty bump on his head. I got real upset and told him that if he had his helmet on this could have been prevented and that he could really have been seriously hurt. So I support this one-hundred percent.Flag

Name: Deborah Cryblskey on May 5, 2010Comments: I lost my son snowboarding without a helmet, and a local boy died in Portland OR 2 mos ago from a head injury while skateboarding. Please, please, please mandate helmet use for these high speed activities. The law states you can't smoke a cigarette 25 feet in front of my business door, but you can board down a mountain or road with no protective head gear? Mothers day is coming and I have no son to hug.Flag
