    Comments: they lied in court about my neice being high a the visitiaon and she wasn't there was tape to prove it but my niece just gave up on trying to get her kids back after battling for over 4 years off and on but casa did lie on the stand and that is not right.

    Comments: My daughter and I were put through hell by the CASA, lied to, my character was slandered to my daughter by the social worker and they convinced her to become a Crown Ward, without including me in meetings. Since I didn't want my daughter to be pressured aymore, I told her I loved her and would back her in whatever decision she made. The reason she became one was that her worker lied and told her that they would pay her full tuition through University, which was a blatent lie. I feel like part of me died when they wrongfully took my parental rights away for no just cause.

    Comments: I have a cps case where my older three children were taken away by cps, while I was pregnant with my fourth child. I was living in Caldwell County, NC. SO before I had my baby I moved to Catawba County, NC. I had my baby and was able to keep her. I took her back and forth to visits to visit my other children. This tore them apart. They couldn't understand why they couldn't come home with MOMMY but the baby could come home with me! I was working two different caseplans for two different counties CPS. Caldwell COunty said I wasn't making any progress while Catawba County said I was doing great and there were no reason to take my baby. Eventually, Caldwell Co. ceased reunification and started the process for termination of my parental rights. They threatened me and said if I didn't sign my rights over for my oldest three that I would have them terminated either way and they would make sure Catawba Co. removed my baby immediately. I didn't think I had a choice, so I signed. NOw, I know they did something very unlawful. So if any one has any advice please help me get all my children home. The reason they took my children is because they said my mother was a drug addict and I was letting her keep them while I worked. So I was neglecting them. How about they took them from daycare after a daycare worker ( who had asked me to sell my daughter to her for $10,000) called CPS and made a false report about my mother and myself. CPS never even met my mother until a visit a year after my children were taken. They never even drug tested her and still hasn't until this day. I don't understand. A lawyer told me if I could find one thing CPS did that was fraudulent that I could fight and get all my children back.     Comments: CASA volunteers are trained to benefit the child, not the adult. What adults interpret as "lies" and what seems to make the parents look bad is simply because the volunteer does not agree with the parent. Wow... Attorneys dont get to spend time with the child, to make the best possible recommendation, neither do CW's-- thats why they appoint a VOLUNTEER to do it. Someone who is willing to give up their time to benefit the life of a child! What the parent/child may want may not be what is in the BEST INTEREST of a child... And thats what CASAs advocate for--- THE BEST INTEREST. Which may not be to return the child home... And despite what anyone says (after reading the other posts) CASAs can not try to terminate the parental rights... The state does that based on information they receive about the parents complying (or lack thereof) with their services. The parents have 9 months, in IL, to CORRECT THE CONDITIONS that brought the children into care (adoption and safe families act) and if the state moves towards terminating parental rights, they can only do so after 9 months! Thats 9 months of the parents not doing squat. It has to pass legal screening before it goes to termination. If it doesnt pass legal screening (meaning the parents are doing their services) then THEY CANT TERMINATE! If it does pass legal screening (meaning the parents ARENT doing their services) then they should move to TPR! Because thats 9 months of the parents not doing anything to correct the conditions and it would make the children in foster care for 9 months... Not all CASA programs are GAL programs--- some only use volunteers.

    Comments: Because i am a crown ward my self the Children's Aid took my child because they think that everything that happened to me when i was little will happen to my daughter. but the bull shit because i would never ever hurt my daughter and they think because i was hurt when i was a baby I'll do it to her and i don't think that's fair that they makeup stuff that's not true and can get a way with it!!!!! and the worst part is they are one of the highest in the government and can do what the f*ck they want with anyone s child or children! i think they should pay for all the children they have been killed in their care and how many people kill themselves because of the threats that the CAS puts everyone through!!!!

The medical records will prove the truth. I got the school records and proved all but 2 abenses were medically excused. How can they have so much power? This state will be a BIG federal payment if these kids are adopted out cause one is medically fragile! I have always cared for my babies in every way. THEY MUST BE STOPPED!!

    Comments: i had court today, 2nd isp plan has almost been completed. but they still are not satisfied. i again have great reports and agian they court order new services. if they have so many concerns why can't they court it all at once, so i can get this behind us. They continue to string it out! my lawyer is so fed up he has annoced he is no longer going to take DHS cases. our casa worker doesnt like me and shes never gotten to know me on a personal level to see what kind of person i really am. she has never seen me interact with my children. none of the workers have either. everyone who has only has good things to say about my partening skills. although the courts are not willing to hear it. this morning in court sara, the casa worker stated " she treats her kids like toy dolls" are you kidding me shes never seen me interact with my children. they are my world. the worst lie she blurted out in court which really got me going was " she has been trying to get pregnate again" my lawyer asks her what grounds she has. she states " someone very close to the case" well for starters i would never intend on bringing another child into this world! not to mention i do have an IUD. the 7 year birth control. which has to be removed. how does that even make sense. also you cant say rumpors thats not fair. its not right. i mean the only person who could really say i was trying to have another baby would be the person i was sleeping with which my life is to busy for anyways! i have to many other things i am trying to focus on at this time in my life.

    Comments: My wife is still dealing with CASA of Dawson, GA. A report filed by her ex-spouse who lives in Georgia and we live in Tennessee. He makes insane claims that my wife self mutilates by cutting herself. My wife sees a doctor almost weekly and has gone through medical training herself. My wife would not be licensed if that lie were true. But what does CASA of Dawson County, GA (we call it "dirt-ville") do?! The CASA volunteer with barely a high school diploma, backs her Ex-spouse 100% with the outrageous lies ! It will work it's self out in court and my step daughter (who I don't want to adopt or have any need to play daddy with) rages about how evil CASA is and does NOT want to see a screaming father who makes threats of physical harm. The CASA volunteer even called the child a liar in court ! He yelled constantly at the child until she feared being even put in a car with him. The 10 year old child doesn't want to live with a convicted felon with drug dealing charges. (yes, that's sadly true) CASA won't listen to any facts we present about him. Prove us a liar! Please !!! CASA volunteer also accepted "free" rides to court by the ex-spouse. Bribe anyone? Yes, set up some one to "investigate" possible child abuse claims by an ex-spouse and because you are not paid a penny, you back such false abuse claims for CASH-A ! Cha-ching ! CASA in Georgia is ripe with such scams. The same people who scream for "limited government" should send CASA's bags packing as they waste tax payer's money by the millions each year ! Caused by CASA with ex-spouses who want to stop paying child and start slapping children around. Why do we need layer of untrained bureaucracy ? We have PLENTY of trained pediatric doctors, teachers, police officers, DFAC workers, licensed psychologists to report real abuse about children. Not untrained hillbilly volunteers who will stick their hand out for greasy easy money. Low rent starving internet scammers from Nigeria should come to CASA in Georgia to study how to be a real scam artist ! Classes standing by !
