    Comments: I am Canadian, my children are Canadian and were taken by CPS because of the abuse over me of my American husband, step-father of the children. A commissioner in Washington refuses to let the children go back to Canada even if Canada has an order for the children that is similar to the Washington one. Foster parents want to adopt my children and I haven't done anything to deserve losing my children forever.

    Comments: My 16 month old son passed away in March 2001. The following December I gave birth to my new son, Dakota. Dakota was taken by c.p.s. and the Juvenile Court when he was a month and a half old. I was appointed an attorney that didn't do anything to help me. He didn't even address the court with my defense. If he had done this as he should've been legally binded to, I would have been able to show that there was no reason for my son's removal to start with. I know that I was not properly represented by this attorney. My son has since been placed in a prospective adoptive home. With the court date to finalize the adoption coming up in September 2003, I pray that I may find some one to help me get him back.     Comments: they are stealing our children and destroying precious little children all for a dollar what right do they have to say one is unfit simply b/c they fall in the poverty catagory also to take these complaints by callers not knowing the motive or the character or mental state etc of these callers they should always consider the source help these families reunite obtain the skills needed provide them with the training to be the best parents they can be and adopt out only as a last resort and certainly alloting more time than one yr to meet all neccessary training work with families not against simply for a fat bonus for increasing adoption rates by a few thousand every yr i pray that god have mercy on all the anti family case workers who put their bank account ahead of the interest of the family and what is right in every thing you do follow gods laws love understand and help not hurt what will u say when u have to answer for hurting a child for monetary gains. the only unforgivable sin the lord speaks of is that of a sin against a child that means any unjust and intentional harm pray for your souls

    Comments: i recently discovered that the CAS is NOT a government supported organization. They are a "charitable organization" and that is why they get away with what they do. They are not held accountable because they are working with charity. WE need to petition for a vote of their right to exist...we should not be asking for reform. Who gave Hitler permission to open consentration camps made for slaughtering people they didn't like Noone! However, Hitler's camps were not taken down and rights were violated. who gave this "charitable organization" the right to make desicions about our kids in the first place This is the question we need to be asking.
