Name: Daniel Mewhinney on May 7, 2009Comments: This is an outrage. Kids should not be dealing with these issues. Other kids will emulate what they see on tv. We all know that. Wrong role model for Cartoon Network. Wrong role model for children everywhere. Kids are waking up with nightmares just from watching the previews of this show. Yeah, good formula. . . . . stop this show...Flag

Name: JoeClark on May 7, 2009Comments: am deeply concerned about your show, "The Othersiders". You are being irresponsible in allowing kids to ghosthunt on television. We, and other paranormal groups, often deal with kids who have suffered traumatic events after a ghost hunt went wrong. We are called in to help them. What will happen when one of your kids on the show gets affected by a ghost or spirit and suffers irreparable harm Or what will happen when a child viewer gets affected in the same way You, as the network carrying this program will be, and should be, held responsible. It is not about ratings. It is about kids being placed into danger and other kids imitating them and getting hurt. Every leading paranormal expert in the field agrees that ghost hunting is NOT for kids. Therefore, We have joined a nationwild effort for the boycott of your show. And hopefully your show will be canceled before some innocent child is harmed. Sincerely, Joe Clark, Co-Founder Commonwealth ParanormalFlag

Name: Tracy Van Lieshout on May 8, 2009Comments: Dealing with any spirit activity can be harmful enough to adults with experience. How it can affect children who think it is a game does my head in. Spirit communication, including Ouija boards, should NEVER be promoted to minors.Flag

Name: Chad on May 9, 2009Comments: I feel that the Cartoon Network should cancel the new kid ghosthunting show entitled The Othersiders. Ghost hunting should not be promoted to underage children. There are dangers that even us adults encounter that are sometimes difficult to deal with. And you want to put children into this I have to say I thought television could sink no lowerFlag

Name: Julie Ventosi on May 11, 2009Comments: Allowing children to go in and "investigate" haunted places is not only irresponsible, it is dangerous!! Especially if they are not well prepared or knowledgable about the dangers. Yes it can be fun, but it can also be very dangerous. You open yourself up to anything, good, bad and evil. This looks like a Ghost Trackers type of show, which thankfully has been cancelled! We need to get this one cancelled too before it even starts!Flag

Name: Catherine on May 11, 2009Comments: I will not let my son watch this show and we are boycotting Cartoon Network. As someone whose child experienced first hand dangerous paranormal activity in our home, I believe it is irresponsible and negligent to knowingly put children in situations where the outcome is unknown and could end up affecting their lives and well being permanently. Luckily in our situation we had a strong faith based and knowledgeable support network to help us through our difficulty time. What will Cartoon Network do for these children when something goes wrong, follows them home or attaches to themFlag

Name: Larry Kayanek on May 18, 2009Comments: Its actually sad they are doing this as if you search you read about hundreds of arrests, robberys, thefts and vandalism involving kids and teens while ghost hunting. Go to some of the sites that list supposed haunted places and read horror stories about these teens taking weapons and sneaking in these places. They even post about breaking in. So its time the networks along with parents use common sense and not allow children to want to be exposed to the dangers.Flag
