The law currently states that you don't have to report a RTC for a cat. The law needs to change because cats are pets to. There have been far too many RTC Involving cats and so many could have been saved if they had got the right treatment on time. Accidents happen but it is far better for an owner to know what has happened to their pet then to spend endless days or weeks worrying about them. You have to report it if you hit a dog so what's the difference?
