Name: Iola Price on Dec 5, 2008Comments: Once agreed to by communities, CDPs should become secondary plans under the Official Plan and modifications should not be done without full community consultation and going through the OP amendment process. communities invest a lot of time and effort to come up with CDPs and they shjould be treated more respectfully by the city and by developers. They are more than just "guidelines" to be tossed aside at the whim of someone.Flag

Name: Amy Kempster on Dec 13, 2008Comments: The Council passed this plan and therefor the staff and the Council should be consistant and turn down developments which suggest development of a type not supported by the plan. Otherwise communities will have no faith in the staff or City Council.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 15, 2008Comments: I strongly support the notion, no, the requirement, that Community Design Plans be respected in development approvals. These Plans are developed as a result of a great deal of work by many dedicated people who live in the community, and have the best interests of the community at heart. Yes, this may be a matter of the heart -. something that is so important in this great country of ours.Flag
