In the last twelve months parking costs at the council run car park outside The University of Glamorgan Merthyr Tydfil Campus have increased by 50%. This increase is having a detrimental effect on students being able to continue with their studies.
I hereby add my name to this petition and campaign for the local council to implement a fairer pricing system for students using the carpark. I believe that the council should offer a lower price for people studying at the college and implement this as soon as possible to avoid students having to drop out altogether due to financial concerns.
