Extended emergency room waits, longer response times for ambulances, thousands of displaced health-care workers. Higher Hospital expenses and not enough staff. Sending patients home worse than what they go in with, giving patients wrong medincines. We have higher skill hospitals 20mins away. It's not right for EMS to take seriously ill patients to Carolina Pines when they aren't equip for trauma etc... As citzens our health care insurance doesn't understand why we bypass Carolina Pines hospital. We would like this hospital to close, So, Our health insurance will pay for us to go to a higher skill facility. (McLeod's, Carolinas Hospital Systems in Florence, SC)
