| 51 | Marc Pekowsky | What the Town Board of Carmel has done is unconscionable. It smacks of tyranny and should not be allowed to stand! |
| 52 | Joseph Montuori | The infringement of Carmel citizens' right to petition the government for change is even more glaring here. |

| 55 | Anonymous | Those in any governing body who deny fellow Americans their right to voice their ideas in public matters are assisting all who are getting too comfortable with the ideas of dictatorship. Brace yourself! To allow this is the second step to a new government that preys upon the apathetic. We've all seen the first. |

| 70 | Richard E.West | I am saddened by the fact that our forefathers, who fought a war of revolution, after creating a democracy to insure our right to free speech are not alive to see it taken away by small town council board members who were elected by the people, for the people. |

| 77 | Janet Berberich | It is past time for the Town Supervisor and Councilmen to stop favoring the developers at the expense of the tax paying residents. |
| 78 | cindy katz | Since all Town business is complete by the time residents can comment, there is no meaningful input from the community at these meetings. |
| 79 | Anonymous | Shameful behavior on the part of the Town Board but unfortunately not surprising. |

| 86 | George L.Bickel III | Dear Supervisor Schmitt,
On the face of it, the intent of rules to diminish lengthy pubic participation in town hall sessions is to facilitate the efficient conduct of meetings. But, given the community suspicions of a clandestine history of unofficial contacts between the Board and developers, I view this new rule as a transparent effort to stiffle dissent, which will exaccerbate distrust in our town as it currently does at the federal level. If your goal is to run efficient meetings, let honesty and truth be your administrative guides, not exclusion of the public.
Sincerely yours, George L. Bickel III |
