Name: Marie Cahill on Feb 7, 2007Comments: As an employee of Carlyon Print Workshop for disabled people. It is vital to keep the Workshop opened as it is the only workshop in Brent for the disabled . If this place closes, there are no other resourses for disabled people to get training and employment. Carlyon Print has been opened for the last 25 years or so. We as disabled employee of Carlyon Print feel that we are been discrimated if the closure proceeds. Please save the disabled people who are willing to go to work and the oppertunity to continue their employmentFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 7, 2007Comments: Brent Council is a subscriber to the two tick symbol of "Positive about Disabled People", by closing Carlyon Print they will be getting rid of one sixth of the total of disabled people employed by Brent Council. Hardly a positive attitude towards disabled people.Flag

Name: Mike Marlow on Feb 8, 2007Comments: As being involved in the printing industry I feel that it is important that local Councils support the disabled with jobs and training. I have worked with your present Print Manager and found him caring and resourceful. I believe the the Council is discriminating against the disabled just to save a few pounds.Flag

Please think again about possible closure, and destroying something of real value beyond immediate profit and loss.gFlag

Name: Liz Scott on Feb 19, 2007Comments: I thought New Labour promoted jobs for the disabled, many of the disabled people working for Carlyon Print will find it difficult to find employment. Isn't this about jobs for the community. Many of these people will then be claiming unemployment benefit, many deaf and disabled people find it extermely difficult finding a job. Save Carolyn Print!Flag
