   Comments: Carers are already below the poverty line by $200 per week. I feel like getting the government in to pay for there own carer to look after my wife and 4 year old son so i can work. But then again i will have to pay the government for costs they incure.

   Comments: I do not see why he wants to drop payments to people doing a job that the goverment would have to pay for anyway.

   Comments: Carers and Pensioners need more money not less. Dig in to that pot of money and do the right thing by those less fortunate instead of making it easier for the better off.

   Comments: As a disability pensioner i believe that the federal government already has us living below the breadline in a hyper economy. To do this to carers as well would compound the problem and remove even more of the support that we are able to fall back on if we are not coping.
