Name: Anonymous on Jun 13, 2007Comments: It is high time something is done about the condition of Cardinal Road! I don't even like to drive my car down it because I am afraid it will damage my car. Many new homes are being built down that street now, so the need for its repair is pertinent! Thank youFlag

Name: Edwin Gardner on Jun 13, 2007Comments: This neighborhood will represent a large tax base when complete. I do not see any poor streets in the Walnut creek area nor Blacktop for that matter. Cardinal street is in terrible shape and we need a plan of action. Please do not take Mansfield backwards by bringing in any apartments or high density housing. This is why we left Arlington. Thank you, Ed.Flag

Name: Patricia Woody on Jun 13, 2007Comments: Cardinal Road is a mess! If you drive over 20 miles an hour you get thrown all over the road. Patch job after patch job is only making the problem worse. It will only be a matter of time before some legacy hs student kills themselves driving on this road if it is not fixed.Flag

Name: Myra Miller on Jun 13, 2007Comments: Please fix this road. I travel down it daily I have had to do alot of car repairs due to the pravement issues on this road. My sitter lives off of it and I have no choice but to use it. Also, just had a friend last week have a bad car wreck on the road due to 2 teens racing. As she was going to be hit head on there was no where for her to go but the ditch.Flag

Name: Krista Springer on Jun 13, 2007Comments: I want to let it be know that we are in need of Cardinal Road repairs. The road is very ruff and in need of full not partial repairs. It can sometimes be a dangerous situation because we have to go around areas of bad road to get around it. Also it is very hard to avoid children having to walk or ride bikes on this road because the road is very narrow and broken.Flag

Name: Dolores H Demartini on Jun 13, 2007Comments: I live directly behind where the accident occured last week. In addition to that accident, there are cars racing back there frequently late at night. It is currently unsafe, and I fear what will happen when the school opens and there is lots more traffic, and kids on a road with not enough stop signs, and no sidewalk.Flag

Name: David McDurham on Jun 13, 2007Comments: This road is horrible! It is full of potholes, there is no shoulder, and it is too narrow for the amount of traffic on it now...much less when Legacy opens. Use the tax money we pay to give us a road worth driving on, please.Flag

Name: Jennifer Dodd on Jun 14, 2007Comments: You are now requiring 2 groups of MISD students to walk home on a dangerous, narrow, pothole-deteriorated road; the students we currently dodge each afternoon from Donna Sheppard and now Legacy high school students. MISD stepped up to the plate and repaired a portion of Cardinal Road. It is time for the city of Mansfield to do the same.Flag

I used to live at Breezy Oaks over 20 years ago and that road has not been changed since before then. It's about time it got improved, especially since it is one of the roads kids will be driving on to get to the new high school. Thank you for your consideration.Flag

The use of this road will increase with the opening of the school and the risk to our chldren will become greater as traffic increases! Fix this road now, while school is out, and show us that are childrens safety is an important issue to our city!Flag

I already have a very dear friend in the hospital at this moment that has underwent several surgeries awaiting more due to a head on collision that occured last week on Cardinal. I would sure hope that for the sake of the other residents in this neighborhood , and all the families that will be traveling on this road to and from school that you would certainly want the safety of your citizens to be of value. Please consider the repair of this dangerous street.Flag
