If you live in Mansfield, live on or off Cardinal Road, or use it frequently, please sign our petition to have the north end of this road from 1187 to Columbia fixed. The south end was fixed by M.I.S.D., but funding for fixing the other end by the city was reallocated elsewhere and plans to fix it have been halted. This road is not only an eyesore, but a hazzard. The road needs to be repaved and sidewalks added for children and pedestrians to walk it safely. It is full of pot holes and in some areas the sides of the road are broken off so much that makes it difficult for cars to pass each other. Children also have to walk along the street on this narrow road making the chances for accidents even higher. Don\'t let anyone else get hurt. To Mansfield City Council: Please fix Cardinal Road.

Rosie Ramirez, United States7 years ago Comments: Cardinal Road needs to be fixed immediately, there are a number of new homes that have been built in this neighborhood for which the owners are paying dearly on the taxes, use some of the tax money you collect to fix this horrible road. The number of potholes and crummy patchwork is really hard on my car as I drive it daily. Its shameful to have such a terrible road when the new homes have brought such beauty to the neighborhood. More importantly, there are children walking to school that are being exposed to the danger of being hit, I hope it doesnt take someone getting hurt for you to finally decide to fix what should have already been fixed.
