I am currently drafting a formal letter to the city council to outline the essential nature of these internet access points. my library is the only place i can get online to check for jobs. if this goes away i am totally stuck.
KEEP IT OPEN. so many seniors rely on this for everything from taxes to talking with their grandkids far away.
The internet is a basic utility at this point. Removing access is just setting people up to fail.
i use the library pc every single day for school. please dont take this away from us.
Ugh seriously?? Stop trying to cut corners on the stuff that actually helps people.

this is ridiculous. poor people need the internet too. not everyone can afford a monthly bill and a new computer.
