Name: Gary Moxon on Dec 10, 2012Comments: As a dog lover and competitor, I have found the CaniX team both supportive and a well balanced group that supports Cani sport growth in the UK, under there tirless work and love of the sport and pets that compeate they are successful, I have enjoyed all the events that i have entered with CaniX, I believe that this position is damaging the sport for the long term and will surly alienate the majority of competitors from UK from the ECF and ECF governed events in the future, what a shame in this current climate of Cani sport growth in the UK.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 10, 2012Comments: Having attended five ECF championships I can only say that the organization and attention to detail and the needs of the competitors in 2012 way way above that achieved at any previous event. The course was challenging, the provision of on-site camping was the highest quality, and the presence of numerous helpers was evident throughout. As with any major event glitches were encountered - it is how the organisation responds when the problem is identified which counts. Nothing I observed or heard suggests the UK National federation should be other than thanked for the immense effort which went in to hosting the ECF. The ECF response has left me disenchanted with the wider Canicross community. I am unlikely to participate in future ECF events.Flag

Name: Dr Fiona Roberts on Dec 10, 2012Comments: The allegations are unfounded and insulting to both the hard work of Richard and Eileen and all those involved in the wider organisation of the eurochampionship event. The suggestions that aspects of health and safety and dog welfare may have been compromised are particularly onorous and I say that as someone who, as my professional role is in the assessment of animal behaviour and welfare (both in the UK and Internationally), would not have been involved with CANIX UK for the last 4 years if I had ever had any occasion to doubt that the most rigorous attention to animal well-being was always at the forefront of events.Flag
