As a citizen of the communities of Murphy Canyon and Tierrasanta, I join with Canine Park at the Trails in asking for your support for the idea and design concept for a future Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) trailhead, interpretative kiosks, family park and tot lot, along with a 3 acre dog park on excess school property currently owned by the San Diego Unified School District, known as Elliott #3. If and when Elliott #3 is obtained by the City of San Diego, this, and the adjacent acreage that is already a designated Tierrasanta Community Park site, can be developed in conjunction with San Diego Parks and Recreation and Development Services. With the proper planning and design, incorporating a new southwestern MTRP entrance, parking, passive interpretive displays, along with family picnic and dog park areas, this idea and design concept will become a perfect partner with the Tierrasanta and Murphy Canyon Communities.

Please be supportive of Canine Park at the Trails attempts to move forward implementing this plan through the proper channels at the City of San Diego. BARK FOR THE PARK.
