Name: Maurice Bertouille on Nov 4, 2004Comments: Our country is becoming a dictatorship. Surely there must be answers to satisfy all concerned. I believe that if Governments at all levels are promoting morals, then liquor, gambling, junk food must be eliminated as well. These are all health related as well. Job related illnesses, simply ban the country ha!State:Country: CAFlag

Name: Nick Melnyk on Nov 4, 2004Comments: SVE DSRs are the only reasonable and sensible solutions for all concerned. The primary reason against SVE DSRs is that if they were allowed, the "gold standard" total ban concept could not take place. This frustrates the ban industry to no end since the argument "I should not have to breathe in your smoke" would effectively be rendered meaningless. There is room for justifiable compromise, all that is lacking is an unencumbered will for fairness and equality.State:Country: CAFlag

Name: Thomas Laprade on Nov 5, 2004Comments: The next big issue in Ontario politics will be 'nannygate'--a charge the Liberal government is intent on running residents' lives from the cradle to the grave. Premier Dalton McGuinty's government is the most interventionist of recent times, although many will defend its intrusions as in the public interest(for the greater good) It is telling children what to eat(taking junk foods out of schools) how and when to exercise. (20 minutes exercise each day), tried to freeze raw fish, telling residents what dogs they can own The Liberals are aiming to ban smoking eventually in almost all indoor public and work places. We do not elect people so they can control and manipulate our bahavior. They are in office to serve us, not visa versa. Thomas Laprade Thunder Bay, Ont. Ph. 807 3457258State:Country: CAFlag
