Since the '60's, Bill Henderson has been making
memorable music as guitarist, vocalist and songwriter with
The Collectors, followed by one of Canada's most
enduring bands, Chilliwack. Both of these bands have
long been hailed as true pioneers in the Canadian rock scene
and Chilliwack has produced an enviable number of memorable
hit songs, many of which were penned or co-written by
Henderson - I Believe, Watcha Gonna Do, Raino, My Girl (Gone,
Gone, Gone), Lonesome Mary, Fly at Night - songs that
continue to be played and enjoyed decades after they were
originally written and all of which feature Henderson's
soaring vocals and tasteful guitar work. Apart from his
impressive record as a musician, one must also recognize
Henderson's contribution to the Canadian Music Industry
as a whole, through his leadership roles in some of Canada's
most notable music-based organizations.

Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Science to
induct Bill Henderson into the Canadian Music Hall
of Fame.
