This petition is dedicated to my beautiful cousin Shelly. These are her own words. "Who cares that all my life I have been teased about being deaf, and all my life I have wished I could hear, yes I wear hearing aids. But yet I am deaf." Hearing aids are so expensive that a person can't afford to keep up with the newest technology." It breaks my heart to feel her pain and that insurance companies will not help Shelly and many others get the hearing aids that they need to have what everyone else takes for granted. There's insurance for glasses so you can hear, insurance for your teeth so you can eat, but yet there's NO insurance for hearing aids so you can hear, WHY THE HELL NOT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT TO HEAR. I'm asking all of my friends and family and anyone else out there who feels Shellys pain please sign this petition and lets together make a change!
