Name: Margaret Clark on Oct 14, 2011Address or at least City/Postcode: 16 St Mark's Court, CB3 9LEComments: Most days, I cycle across the wier at Laundress Green. In good weather especially, the corner opposite The Mill pub is a cheerful colllection of students, cyclists, tourists, people of all ages - many children too of course because it is considered a safe way into town. When a taxi from the hotel comes around the corner by the pub, everyone has to scatter because the road is so narrow. It is very unsafe and unfriendly, to say the least. More rooms = more taxies. No thank you.Flag

An extension of its buildings and associated activities would be utterly out of keeping with its surroundings.Flag

Name: Margaret Hay on Oct 14, 2011Address or at least City/Postcode:Comments: This extension is totally out of keeping with the area, and will have a very negative impact on the surrounding area, not only from the look of it, but also from the point of view of more traffic in the already congested area of Mill Lane etc. An expansion of this kind is not needed in this important conservation area.Flag
