| 7 | Myfanwy Bajaj-Myfanwy Castell Haidd | He was a great Welsh man and one of the kindest human being. He held the sword for me when I became a Bard at the llanelli National eisteddfod. What a gentle smile , for a man carrying such a fierce sword. Cysga yn dawel fab da o Gymro. |
| 8 | eirug davies | byth wedi anghofio cyfarfod a Ray pan oedd yn chwarae gyda'r Babarians yn Boston dros chwarter canrif yn ol. Y Cymro gorau oll. |

| 10 | Ray Hopkin | A cup named after a true Welshman - Ray Gravell - would better represent what the WRU are trying to achieve with Welsh Rugby, than any stuck up english boy-queen-prince ever could. Let the royal family represent who they cater to, the english, let a true Welshman represent who we are as a nation, please. |

| 24 | Peter Blackmore | A Welsh Icon who should live for ever |
| 25 | Huw Garan | Cytuno cant y cant. Mae'r parch a'r cariad 'roedd Grav yn ei ennyn lle bynnag mae'r gêm yn cael ei chwarae yn ei wneud yn ddewis amlwg - yn sicr yn fwy amlwg na thywysog o Loegr na ddangosodd unrhyw ddiddordeb menw rygbi Cymru . Pa deyrnged well i'r cawr o Fynyddygarreg nag enwi'r cwpan hwn ar ei ôl?
I absolutely agree. What better tribute could there be to a man who was loved wherever rugby is played than to name this cup after him? Surely it would be more fitting than naming it after an English prince who has never expressed an interest in the Welsh game? |

| 36 | Berwyn Emrys Jones, PhD | How much more appropriate it would be to honor an authentic Welsh hero, than a foreign prince! |
| 37 | martin proctor | a true passionate welshman |
| 38 | Leigh Smith | Ray Gravel deserves recognition.
The people of Wales felt a genuine warmth for him |
