In late July 2011, the U.S. Postal Service announced plans to conduct studies of approximately 3,700 post offices nationwide to determine their viability and future.

The Camak Post Office is one of the post office being evaluated.

The City of Camak and its concerned citizens are working hard to keep the City of Camak Post Office open. We feel our Post Office is an important component of day-to-day living, providing valuable services to residents and businesses.

We need your help and support in our efforts to keep our Post Office open. We have been told we need to have citizen signatures supporting our efforts. We need to have this done before our townhall meeting on October 27th.

We, the users of Camak, Georgia Post Office, wish to inform the U.S. Postal Service we are OPPOSED to the closure of the Camak Post Office.
