| 2680 | Tamara Alqaisi | I have witnessed the abuse and neglect of our elderly in nursing homes, hospitals, and by their own family members. It just sickens me to see this. We must do everything in our power to stop this. Our elders need to be respected and their human rights must be protected! I believe many people are unaware of this type of abuse because it is rarely mentioned compared to that of domestic or child abuse. Our elders are equally important and people need to be aware of what many of them have to endure. |
