After playing the most recent CoD Ghosts (and thinking how bad it is in comparison to previous games) i suggest the following.... to bring back the fast paced, enjoyable call of duty we all used to play. From playing ghosts here are just a few things i notice that are poor and make the game boring to play

- Large Maps

- Overpowered Guns

- Bullet damage doesnt seem to be constant (one time i will kill somone in 5 bullets and then next it takes a whole mag)

- Too many perks (too many to chose from making it over complicated for users)

- No equipment or perks like claymores and UAV's (sat coms just ruin the game that already encourages camping)

HERE IS WHAT I PROPOSE SHOULD BE DONE

- Reduce map sizes and keep the maps simple but effective (e.g scrapyard from mw2 and terminal provided fun fast paced games that were a suitable size for the style of gameplay)

- Bring back some of the old weapons and perks, for me claymores and bomb squad are a must!

- Dont try to over complicate the game with numerous perks and customisation options. If you are veteran cod player like myself i always enjoyed the simplicity of picking up the controller and getting involved in a game quickly. Not having to spend hours reading through all these perks and attachments and subbing bits and bobs out to either gain more perks or more attachments/equipment. This also doesnt make the game balanced.

- With the next-gen upon us you could easily make a game like MW4 a success. Not by spending all your time on designing useless perks and character customisation etc but actually make it a game for the fans. For example spend time on the maps, make them fun and tactical like earlier maps from cod4 and mw2. Keep the perk options set so we can only have 3-4 perks per class which creates a level of fairness. Use the console power to develop the graphics! We dont want an upscaled version.... we want it designed specifically for this next-gen era!
