The mountain bike riders of Calgary are in a constant struggle to find legal places to be involved with the sport of mountain biking. As the sport grows, It is urgent for us to be able to have a place where we can go to enjoy ourselves. Over the years, our old areas have slowly started to deplete, and we are running out of places where we can ride. We urge the city to help us try to change this, by helping us allocate a central location for a volunteer serviced mountain bike park. This park would free the city of any liability issues, and would help the sport progress in Calgary.

Alex Sorenson, Canada5 years ago Comments: We definatly need more dirt jumping areas because recreational areas such as fick creek are being used as an area for building dirtjumps and it is very dangerouse for people around in the recreational area from bikes flying every wear. Also bikers are taking there riding to poeples private property and wrecking private property.
