As its name suggests, USC-WAVES (We\'re About Value and Excellence for our Schools) is a grassroots, non-partisan educational advocacy group in Upper St. Clair, PA dedicated to promoting value and excellence in our public schools.
USC-WAVES supports the highest standard of excellence in education for all children in Upper St. Clair (USC). We believe that our School Board should be held accountable for conducting ongoing, public and data-driven decision making on the most efficient uses of public and private funds in order to attain that standard, with full taxpayer input. We also believe that the teaching of moral and religious values rests principally with parents, and does not fall within the purview of the School Board.
In addition to supporting academic excellence in Upper St. Clair, USC-WAVES works to encourage good governance and community involvement in school decision making, and an engaged and informed electorate.
