The Freedom Amendment to the U. S. Constitution

The Framer's being honorable men, never foresaw the need for this Amendment: "The Congress shall make no law exempting its members past, present or future, nor their families, friends, acquaintances, contributors or employees, contractors or associates. Any law containing such exemptions shall be null and void unless reenacted removing such exemptions."

5 years ago Comments: I am livid. The healthcare bill added not one new Dr or hospital bed, but it did add 17,000 IRS agents to enforce it.... think of that. Medicare and Medicaid are going bust, and congress adds a trillion dollar entitlement? This wasn't about insuring 32 million people, improving healthcare, or reducing costs (tax 6 years to pay for 3); Nope, this was about Democratic power, plain and simple. Blatant corruption of building a power base. Well, at least it's so obvious now, we can better mobilize to fight it, - I certainly will.
