For seven years now Bradley Whitford has captured the attention of fans world wide as the acerbic Deputy Chief of Staff in NBC\'s \"The West Wing\" For this amazing portrayal he won the 2001 Best Supporting Actor Emmy. In the last two seasons Mr Whitfords performance has transcended what many see as a \'Supporting\' role into one worthy of \'Actor in A Leading Role\' culminating in outstanding performances in the recent episodes \"Election day 1&2\", \"Requiem\" and \"Transition\". As such this petition is to encourge the appropriate personnel at both Warner Brothers and NBC to put forward Mr Whitfords name for nomination for the 2006 Academy of Television Arts and Sciences \"Emmy\" award in the catagory of Best Actor.
