Jack Stuef wrote a badly researched, wholly inaccurate, hypocritical and unsourced hit piece on Matthew Inman, cartoonist behind The Oatmeal. Inman has exposed the lies and hyperbole in Stuef's piece handily. No respectable journalistic or editorial organization should continue to provide an outlet for emotionally-tinged, hyperbolic, hypocritical, false, misleading, misstated, and plain outright fraudulent statements. Despite being unprofessional, it opens up said organization for liability for libel and other legal implications. Buzzfeed should 1. Dismiss Jack Stuef and/or discontinue publishing material written by him, 2. Remove the Oatmeal hit piece, and 3. Issue an apology in its place.
