Whereas, baby pandas are described as the size of a stick of butter, and Whereas, the Chinese government wants to promote the dairy industry over the next two decades, and Whereas, the San Diego Zoo is the premiere facility in the nation, Therefore, be it resolved that the Chinese government should hereby name the baby panda at the San Diego Zoo \"Butterstick\" to: 1) advance the goal of greater dairy consumption in China, 2) promote the Chinese dairy industry, and 3) acknowledge the close ties between the Pacific coasts of China and the United States.
