We want Otsego County to stop the process of selling Copes Corners Park and deed the property Gilbertsville Center for Sustainability, a non profit group.
The citizens of Butternuts consider this park a vital part of our community and the cornerstone for achieving the goals identified in our recently drafted Comprehensive Plan.
This community has a long history of community development, through volunteer and non-profit organizations. We are ready willing and able to manage this asset productively and secure its benefits to future generations.
