We , the undersigned call on Medway council to provide the children who live in the Medway area of Kent the same type of bus pass as children who live in the rest of Kent have access to . Currently if you live in Kent outside the Medway area you can pay £50 /year for the Kent Freedom bus pass , which allows children to travel on a bus at any time including any bus services within the Medway area for free . As residents of Medway we feel it is unfair that we should PAY OVER £600 /year just to send a child of ours to school when the rest of residents in Kent can send their child to school by bus & anywhere else in kent for JUST £50/year !!!!! We beleive that under the every child matters policy , it is ethically wrong that children in medway don`t have access to a kent freedom pass like any other Kent child !!!
